Workers compis the specialty. The book is bigger.
We lead with workers compensation because most insurance shops don't — and because the trades deserve someone who actually knows it front to back. But when you're packaging coverage for a real business, you need more than one line. We write the rest of your commercial book too: general liability, commercial auto, commercial umbrella, and the other coverages trade contractors actually need.
Workers Compensation
The specialty. Written right, priced honestly, placed with the carrier that fits the class. This is the work we've done long enough that we don't need to look anything up — we just know.
- Class codes
We write the codes the trades actually run on — construction (5403, 5645), HVAC (5183), plumbing (5183, 5188), roofing (5547, 5552), electrical (5190), and the other trade classes that come with them.
- NCCI fluency
We speak experience modifier. We know how a single claim drags an e-mod for three years and what a clean three-year run does to your premium.
- Premium audits
We can't guarantee no surprises, but we can prepare you better than most. We educate on payroll splits, 1099 documentation, and certificates from subs — so when audit time comes, you're not blindsided.
- Claims advocacy
When a claim hits, you get a real person on the phone fast. We push back on carriers when something's off. That's the job.
The rest of thecommercial book.
Workers comp is the specialty — but we're a full commercial agency for trade contractors. If you need to package coverage, we'll write the rest of it too. Same agency, same straight talk, same carrier relationships.
General Liability
Slip-and-fall on a job site, property damage to a client's house, the GC asking for a $1M/$2M certificate before you can start — GL covers all of it. We write it as a standalone or paired with your comp.
Commercial Auto
Trucks, vans, trailers, tools in transit. If your name's on the title and it hauls work, we'll quote it. Hired-and-non-owned coverage too if your guys drive their own rigs.
Commercial Umbrella
An extra million (or five) over your GL, auto, and comp limits. The bigger contracts demand it; we'll structure it so the underlying policies actually feed into it correctly.
Other Commercial
Inland marine for tools and equipment. Builders risk for ground-up jobs. Pollution liability when the work touches it. If it's a commercial coverage trade contractors actually need, we write it or know who does.
